Prerelease: Magic: The Gathering® | Marvel’s Spider-Man

Be among the first to experience the excitement of Marvel’s Spider-Man in Magic: The Gathering at our Prerelease event! Join us at The Magic Bean Cafe on Friday, September 19 at 6:00 PM for your chance to open cards early, build a deck, and swing into action.

What is a Prerelease?
A Prerelease is your first opportunity to play with the newest set before it’s officially released. Each player receives a Prerelease Pack, which includes booster packs, a foil-stamped promo card, and a Spindown life counter. From there, you’ll build a 40-card deck and play in a fun, casual tournament.

• Date/Time: Friday, September 19 • 6:00 PM
• Location: Magic Bean Cafe
• Format: Sealed Deck (build a 40-card deck from your Prerelease Pack)
• Rounds: 3 rounds of Swiss play
• Entry Fee: Standard Prerelease pricing (includes your Prerelease Pack)

What to Bring

• Basic lands will be provided, but feel free to bring your own sleeves, dice, and tokens.
• A Wizards account (through the MTG Companion app) is recommended for registration.

Prizes

• Everyone takes home what they open, plus packs awarded based on participation and performance.
• Play for fun, prizes, and your first chance to explore Marvel’s Spider-Man in Magic!

New to Prereleases? Don’t worry—these events are designed to be welcoming to all players. Staff and experienced players will be happy to help if you’re new to Sealed Deck or just learning the ropes.
